God! My Idol

It is a sure thing that all people have idol/idols. If we see our idols on television and movies is a great fulfillment in our heart. We always follow them; we always want to know what they are doing in their career and in their personal life. For us, it is a bonus point to a person from the others to see personally our idols, better if we were able to touch them and the best if we were able to talk each other. Just like what happened to me few years ago. I was able to see my idol, the best idol among the rest for me. It happened when I went to Abellana Sports Complex and it was Sinulog time here in Cebu. You know what? During Sinulog, there were a lot of local actors and actresses who watched the Sinulog and that is also part of their career to interact with other people especially too their fans. Who I saw was Kristine Hermosa. You know what? She was so beautiful. She has tantalizing eyes, her face is so angelic, her lips are so kissable and when she smiles, your problem will seem to vanish. She is as beautiful as goddess. I was really happy when I was able to see personally my idol even in just for a few moments. After that my unforgettable moment, I went home straight and shared to my family, my relatives, my friends, my friends and all the people in our place that I saw my idol, Kristine Hermosa. Even in the bedtime, I could not still vanish from my mind that I saw my idol. And I was asking to myself if that was really happening because for me, it is unbelievable. I really can’t believe those times.
One day, my mother got mad at me because I did not do what she asked me to do. At that time, I was watching a show of my idol so my mother thought that the reason why I was not able to her command was that all my attention was in the television, that was not only the time my mother got angry with me because of that matter. So she said that that I was already insane with my idol. “What could I get to my idol?” she asked. What I replied to my mother was an arrogant answer that only this thing can made me happy. “I am contented to see my idol”, I added. But I was really bothered of what my mother said. I was really thinking that the role of an idol is just to be a good idol to his/her fans. Then one day, my idol was involved in an intrigue. She was accused to be a boastful person, so she was invited for an interview to give her side about the issue. She said that all the issues about her were not true. The host of that show said to my idol that is a good example to others. Because of that interview, I realized that the role of an idol is not just only to be an idol to his/her fans but also to be a good example too, a good model to his/her fans . Now I can answer the question that bothers me and also to my mother but not in the arrogant way of saying I will try to tell to my mother about the real role of an idol, the role to be a good example to others.

If I will be...I want to be...

Did you ever ask yourself if you will be something what will you be or what do you want to be? Read this thoroughly and as you read, think also your answers to my questions.
If you will be a flower, what flower will you be? If I am a flower, I want to be a rose. Because, as we all know, rose is the most in-demand flower by the girls especially during anniversaries, women like and love to receive a boquet of roses. So that means, I am always wanted by the girls and being smell by the girls. Of course, I want somebody to buy me and if I am a rose, I can be sure a lot of people will buy me.
If you will be a tree, what tree you will be? If I am a tree, I would rather choose to be a narra tree. As we all know, narra tree is our national tree so I want to be called the national tree of our country not because I want to use the popularity of the narra tree but to be proud as a Filipino and I am proud to be a Filipino. One of the characteristics of the narra tree is that narra tree is hard and strong so it is not easily cut-off. So I want to feel and have being strong because in the real life, I am not strong. So I want to be strong even if I am just a tree.
If you will be an animal, what animal would it be? If I will be an animal, I want to be a bird and why? Ever since I saw a bird flying, I wish that someday I want to fly so I will be a bird, I really want to be a bird. I want to fly and fly all day long. I want to navigate to other different places especially places which we don't know or unlocated in map. Of course, I want to discover beautiful places in this world which we don't know that certain place is as beautiful as heavens. I also want to feel the air above the sky because people said that the air above the ky is so refreshing.
If you will be a fruit, what fruit will it be? If I will be a fruit, I want to be an apple. We know that apples are rich vitamins and nurtients which is essential to our body. Actually, apple is a complete meal. What do you need in different meal is what can also give by a apple. The vitamins and minerals we need in our body, can give by apples. So you don't need to eat different food because in apples, you can be sure that you are healthy. So that means, I am which is very important in this world and I want to be an important matter in this world and remember the saying, "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away".
If you will be an artist, who will be that artist? If I will be an artist, I want to experience and feel the popularity of Brad Pitt. As we all know, Brad Pitt is one of the most famous actor and bachelor and one of the respected actors in the Hollywood. Even Brad Pitt has already a family, he is still hot and according to the survey, Brad Pitt is one of the most-searched Holywood actors in the whole world. So I want to feel being a famous actor and bachelor, I want to feel and experienced being a respected actor in the Hollywood and I want to feel and experience being one of the most-searched actors in the whole world.
If you will be an instant professional, what profession you want to be? If I will be an instant professional, I want to be a computer engineer. In that profession, I can go abroad and earn there a lot. So if I will be an instant professional, I will use the chance to earn money. Who does not want his/her family to become stable? Nobdy, right? I will use of the chance given by me to help my family. Imagine that, you can make your family stable with no money used in making you as a professional.
If you will be a peronal belonging of a woman, what thing will it be? If I will be a thing which is a personal belonging of a lady, I want to be a toothbrush. In that way, I am oftenly used by the lady in her mouth so I can feel her lips. So every time women brushes their teeth, I am also brushing their lips too. For sure, guys there will also want to be a toothbrush of all women so they can feel and taste the lips of the women, so it is like kissing too. For sure, guys like and love that matter especially if we want to kiss our crush but we could not do, then that is the solution of the problem.

If Given the Chance

Have you ever think of the chances you want to achieve? Have you ever asked yourself if you were given a chance to do something, to have something or to be someone? Let's say that you are given a chance to do something, to have something or to be someone, what chance/chances would it be? Well, I have plenty of things that I want to do, to have, to be, if given the chance.
If given the chance, I want to be the President of our country. As we all know, our present president now is being criticised of the way she serves our country. She is using her powers a president to do something which is good to her and her family but not in her countrymen, not in the people she is serving. So if I will be the president of our country, I will serve my countrymen what should be the real leader must do. I will right all the wrongs made by our presidents before. Our country will be more progressive, will be more independent from different countries, will be richer and will be have a wealthy and healthy citizen living in my country and that will be through the way I will lead the country as president, if given the chance.
Animals are living things. Living things because they exist in this world and because they were also made by our almighty God, so that means they are important. Unfortunately, animals now are being killed easily for some reasons. According to the news, several species of animals are already endangered. Endangered means the extinction a certain specie of an animal. I know, if those animals just can talk, for sure they will beg the people who wants to kill them just to be still alive in the world. So if given the chance, I want to be an animal for one day, so that I can really feel what is the feeling of being hurt and hunt, of being their lives always at risk. I don't want to be killed, I just want to feel the real emotion of being hunt so that I can really relate to their situation in their lives.
Every time I see a street children. I always think of, what if I was that kid begging for money in the street? I can't help them because me too need help especially in financial aspect. So if given the chance, I want to become rich and why? Because if I am rich, I can really help a lot of people. Actually, I want to build foundations and orphanages. That is one of my dreams if I just have much money. So if I am rich, I can help a lot of people because there is no problem anymore especially if it talks about money. Through these foundations, I think that I can make unfortunate people to have reason why they still exist in this world.
What I noticed about movies, both local and foreign, is that fantasy movies are so click to the people. Fantasy movies are those movies which we are not used to in the real world or that is unbelievable like a certain character in a movie has powers. If people said that powers like those in the fantasy movies is not true. If it is not true, where do the fantasy movie or book writers get the idea if this what we called "power"? Where did it start? Where these fantasy movies inspired. So there are really people have powers and through that people, the idea was get to made stories which is fantasy,right? So I really want to have powers to experience having powers. I do not specifically think of the type of power I want to have. As long as I have powers, I am already contented and happy and that will only be possible if given the chance.

***The World is a Chewing Gum***

Last Monday, March 19, 2007, a terrifying scandal which ruin our relationship with our adviser, Madame Gallo and that was the chewing gum issue. It started around 7:30 - 8:30 in the morning when Madame Gallo entered to our room during her class time to I-Bartlett. Madame Gallo started teaching us, all things at that time were fine. Then suddenly, Madame Gallo felt that there is something in her pants, something bothering her and something wet and sticky. Then she finally found out what kept her bothering and that was a chewing gum, a yucky and sticky chewing gum.
When Madame recognized the chewing gum, she spoke up to the class and said that what was happening to her pants. I saw in the face of Madame Gallo that she was so angry , very angry to the person who put the chewing gum in the teacher's chair. All of us were chatting about what happened. Madame turned teaching us and while Madame was teaching, I noticed to her face a mark of an angry person. After the bell rang, Madame asked us why did we put chewing gum to her chair? And if it is not intentional, why the person who put the chewing gum stick the chewing gum to the teacher's chair? When he/she can throw outside the chewing gum or put in another place. Madame Gallo also said that we will have a twenty-point deduction in our last periodical exam. Then all the people got panic and asking one another that who put the chewing gum and some said that who put the chewing gum might die. Then minutes passed by, all of the Bartlett students were still not fine because of what happened. At the end of the morning class, again, we were not still okay. Some of my classmates said that Madame Gallo's treatment to them was different from before the chewing gum issue happened. Most of the students were chatting during afternoon. I joined to their conversation and then I found what they were talking about was the suspect of the "crime". As what I heard, the person they thought the suspect of the crime loves to eat bubblegum and if they are mot mistaken, that person was chewing a bubblegum two days before the chewing gum crime happened. A lot of my classmates said that they saw that person chewing a gum so they thought that person was the suspect. After that day, when we met Madame Gallo again during her class to I-Bartlett. As the things went on, it was all fine,it seemed that nothing was happened yesterday but that was just a thought because at the end of the discussion, Madame Gallo uttered, "All of you have 50-point deduction instead of 20-point in your periodical exam". After we heard those words uttered by Madame Gallo, some of my classmates were crying because of the deduction and also because Madame Gallo had hatred with us and perhaps, we will not be forgive by Madame Gallo until her last days in UP High. After Madame Gallo went out, all of us were busy planning doing something so that Madame Gallo will forgive us. So we made a banner telling sorry to Madame Gallo. Unfortunately, Madame Gallo had a meeting and the faculty was already off-limits for the students so were not able to say Madame Gallo to ask forgiveness to Madame Gallo at that time. Tomorrow morning came, the first two periods will be handled by Madame Gallo. So when Madame Gallo entered into the room, we right away say sorry to Madame Gallo and there two students were holding the banner saying sorry and that we love Madame Gallo. Then Madame spoke, suddenly she cried. When the tears of Madame Gallo fell down, our tears too fell down. At that time, were already forgiven by our beloved teacher and then the normal day we used to with Madame Gallo came back.

God! I have a fear of...

Have you known a person who does not have fears of a things, places, animals or people? Nobody, right? Well, we all know that all human have fears, even animals have and that is the reality. Fear is a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence of imminence of danger. Obviously, what I am going to share to you is about my fears.
You know what? I have a fear or rat's urine. Of course who likes the urine of rat, nobody. we all know that the urine of rat is dangerous. I have heard of news that several people died because of the urine of the rat, some people have eaten a food with a urine which they do not know that it has rat's urine and some were being contacted the urine of rat to their skin. Actually, in our place, there are several rats living and every time I see a rat, I get panic and what I always do is to run away from the rat. So every time I eat, I always wash my hands thoroughly just to be sure that I am eating with clean bear hands.
People are always keeping moving. We are always doing something everyday. Sometimes, people are hard working and they forget about their health so they are prone to common illnesses. Common illnesses include colds, fever, headache, etc. But you know what? There are two common illnesses which I really hate, Which I am afraid of. These illnesses are fever and colds and why? Years back, I was still 7 years old at that time. I had a fever and was the first time I had this fever (as I remember). Then after two days, the hotness that I felt was gone but still my body is tired to move or do something. Then I noticed that every time I eat something, I pretend to vomit and the time comes that I vomit. I also noticed that all I took in, I could not taste well the real taste of that certain food or what I took in. I really don't like to have fever and I am really afraid to have fever since that day happened. One day during our class in grade four, I had colds. It is expected to me to sneeze so I was really sneezing at all times. Then our teacher came in and we all stood up to greet our teacher as what we used to in school. While standing, I made a soundly sneeze. Then all the people staring at me and then I noticed that there was something hanging at my nose. Then I found out that it was a mucus(as we all know). It was so embarrassing especially that my teacher was there on what happened. After that so embarrassing moment, I promised to myself that I will never have colds anymore and I also promised to myself that I will eat only healthy food especially food that can prevent colds.
Lots of animals are living in this world. There are some that we like and there are that we don't. What are the animals that we hate most are also the animals that we have fear of. Have you seen a tarantula? I think so. That certain specie is what I am afraid of, why? Ever since I saw a tarantula, I already hate it and I am afraid of it and the reason is because I don't like their appearance and they look so scary and dangerous and they are really.So every time I see a tarantula, I run away just to be out of the place where the tarantula is.
My fearest thing is that my mother and father will gone. I really love my parents. I can face all my fear just except this because I don't know how to face it. You know what? I am willing to give my life just for my parents, that's how I love my parents. So if that day will come, I don't know if I can still live in this world happily.

Before, there were lot of things that we cannot do faster and better than what we can do now in our day to day life. Before, if we want to go a certain place of destination, it would take days, weeks, and even months to reach that place. But now through technology, we can easily arrived to our destination. If you are working, and your working place is from your house, then you can easily reach to your working place through the various land transportation such as jeepneys, buses, taxi and so many others that can bring you to you r working place and it would just take you a couple of minutes or hours. If you want to go to nearby islands which is not connected to the place where you are, now you can easily go there by means of ship, boat, or yacht or any water transportation. So you will be able to discover different things from the island you want to go because you can go to a certain island by anytime you want. And if you go to other countries for some reasons, now, there is no problem in that matter because there is what we called airplane, an example of air transportation and it would just take hours or days to your destination.

Before, we do not have these what we called now gadgets. In the field of communication, various of types of gadgets are already invented for communication such as cell phone, telephone, fax machine and so many others. If we want to hear the sweet voice of your loved one, we just use the telephone or cellular phone
to call him/her and it would just take seconds to contact that person. Not only that you can contact your beloved, you can also send a message by means of cellphone and the receiver of that message will receive the message in just a few seconds after you text him/her. If you really want to see your loved ones, now, you can do that through the Internet with the presence of a web cam. In that matter, you can see the real image of your beloved appearing in the monitor and you can talk . You can even send a message also by means of Internet and you can also you save pictures of your beloved and make it bigger in size. You will just upload it.

Now there are gadgets made to vanish boredom and will make you happy just for a while. If you want to watch movies, you can easily buy now VCD's or DVD's and etc. Through this, you can enjoy watching different movies and will give you lesson/insight to your life. So you can forget your problems temporarily or totally. One of the latest gadgets today is the i-Pod which you can listen music, your favorite songs. If you want something that you can chat on, there are two examples of that. The cellular phone or cellphone and the Internet. In this way, you do not need to waste your saliva just to say something, you are just going to type.

In the field of cooking/kitchen utensils, there are already utensils that are hi-tech which means it operates faster and better. Before we need to blow the firewood just to have a flame but now, in just a one turn, you can already produce a fire for cooking. If you want a more delicious look and fresher rice, all you need is just a rice cooker which you don't need to guard it at all time. If you want a drink especially for summer, then all you need is a blender. In that thing, you can make fruit shakes at anytime you want.

So those are the things made through technology. Actually, there are sill a lot of gadgets and machines now. But what did I talk about is just the common gadgets and machines being used now by the different people.

*** Love and Infatuation ***

In this world, there is a thing that exists at all no matter what happened and this what we called love. Love means a lot, there is one states that love is like a rosary that full of mystery, other states that love is like a river that flows everywhere, love is like a race, love is blind, love is a decision and so many other definitions about love. All these definitions are maybe right or wrong, it depends if he/she will going to put his/her mind of these definitions of love. In my own words, for me love is a feeling that everybody wants to feel. In the Bible, a definition of love that said to be the real definition of love. The definition can be found in the book of 1 Corinthians 3:4-7 and the verse said: " Love is patient, love is kind, it is not selfish, it does not boast, it not does not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight with evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes. Love never fail. " I knew that you were touched by these lovable words, of course, this words came from the Bible and all words from the Bible are truth because God is truth.

A hundred of thousand s of people saying that you cannot resist love. Once it came, you will be very happy and you can feel an excitement about it. Well, as of me, I do not know if I will agree to that or not because I have never felt to fell in love to someone aside of my parents and siblings. If I am not mistaken, what the people really mean of those words is to love someone with other person and as what I said, I do not have experience about that. Yes, I have crushes, I do admire someone or even groups of people.By the way, admiring someone does not mean that it is already lov because admiring someone is different from loving someone. If there is a word love, there is also a word that counterfeits of it and that is the word infatuation. The word infatuation is a word created by Satan. Actually, there are five differences between love and infatuation. The first difference is that infatuation is ruled by feelings but love is ruled by principle. This statement means that if you really love someone, you will imagine of a things that you think that is right and good to the both of you. For example, the one who you love is an unbeliever of God and you a believer then for sure you will have a conflict together in your married life. And I know you also want a partner in life that has faith in God, has fear in God. How can you build a happy family if God is not the center of your family, for sure your love will collapse suddenly. Another difference between love and infatuation is that infatuation is blind but love sees and examines. This statement is merely saying that if you love someone, you must look at the good things of your beloved and you see what she is doing is wrong or something against with the good but you did not just care about it, then, there is no longer called love anymore. Another definition is that infatuation is hurry but love takes time. If you really love someone, both of you must know and consider the right time for your love, the right time to spend your love with. A time that both of you are ready to take the responsibilities as a good boyfriend and girlfriend, a better husband and wife and a best parents to the future children. Fourth difference of love and infatuation is that infatuation is childish but love is mature. If you really love each other, a sense of responsible person must possess. Loving someone is a serious thing, if you are acting like a child, then, a mature and true will not be exist. That is the differences between love and and infatuation. It's up to you if you are going to put your faith in those matter but all I want to say is I do not care about those things because I am not yet ready for that kind of matter

God's Chosen People

Who do we call when we need a listener to our problems? To who do we revealed our secrets? And when we need a shoulder to cry on, whose shoulder is it? And who do we want to be with? Yes, these questions are too much but do you think the answer of all these questions are the same with the number of the questions? If your answer is a big no, then, you are right. The answer of all these questions is just a one word and it is a person and that person is no other than your/our friends, an important people in our life. It is definitely true that friends our one of the most important people in our lives because they play an important role in our lives and they have a great impact in our lives. Sometimes, we rather choose to be with our friends than our sisters, brothers or parents, do you agree with me? But I am so curious what these friends have that makes us wanted to be with them? As what I always heard, friends are the people who are in our side at anytime in anywhere. We feel more comfortable with them than any other people, we are comfortable to share our secrets any matter that we want to say. Why is that so? Probably because we thought that our secrets will be safe at them but I do not think so because I always heard people who are fighting to their friend/friends because of revealing his/her secret/secrets by whom he/she thought a real friend/friends. Another role of friends, they are one of the people you ask on to solve your problems. Yes, I agree with that. If have a problem, they are just waiting or probably they will approach you to ask what is your problem/problems and disappointments in, your life. Probably you are thinking now of yourself if only friends are just can be a good listener and solver of your problems? You are right that we can also approach our parents, sisters, brothers or even relatives and neighbors but people will rather choose to go to their friends maybe because friends are the people who is with us always especially in our school. Friends are also the people we look for if we need a shoulder to lean on. Actually, friends are the God's chosen people to be with us, to spend our lives in the times of happiness, loneliness and failures. Friends are God's chosen people to be with us at all times because God knows that these people will help you if you need and they will teach you things that can pleased God.

If you are going to ask me, my answer will be a big yes. This situation is no longer new with me. I had once experienced this situation similar to that said saying. Years back, I had this friend let us hide his name as Migs. Migs is a good friend of mine. We always go out to have fun. If one of us has a problem, we just easily approach one of us. And then one day, our teacher reprimand the class to have a report and it was a group report. Migs and I were group mates. If I am not mistaken, the deadline of the group report was two weeks after. Then we start doing our report. I noticed that some of my members were not helping and one of them was Migs. As days goes by, the people who did not help before were still not helping even if the report is tomorrow morning and I see that Migs was not helping. Then the time came for our group reporting, unfortunately, our teacher was not happy with our report, our teacher was not satisfied with our report. Our teacher was so angry with our group especially with me, because I am the group leader. Our teacher asked Migs why we had a bad report. Migs replied that it was my fault, that I did not do my part as the group leader. When I heard all those words uttered by my friend, I was really shock and I cannot explain my feeling. I cannot believe that my friend did put me to shame. After that, I went to a side and cried there, one of my enemies in our school approached me and believe it or not, he encouraged me to be strong. I was so touch by that. And that time, that person was my new friend who was always in my side.

Terrifying Dreams of Mine!!!

All human has dreams, thousand of dreams probably. Each of us has goals in our life and does not want to achive those dreams, nobody, right? Who does not want to be a professional someday? Professional teacher, doctor, engineer and so many others that you can be in the future life. You, what do you want in your future life? What do you want to have that you do not have right now? Well, that is what I am going to share with you in this entry, my dreams ajnd we know that dreams are not limited, it is unlimitedm and they said that dreams are free.

When I was a kid, if somebody asks me what I want to when I grow up. What I replied to those who asked was that I want to become a doctor, a great and one of the best doctors in the entire world. Why doctor? Because that was what I always heard from my mother, father, in the television and radio and I want to help people who needs my help as a doctor to cure their illnesses and wounds. but when i was already in grade sixof my elementary years, I always hear that nursing is the most in-de4mand couse right now. If you are a nurse, you can go abroad and we know that in abroad, you can earn better there than here, in the philippines. So when I heard about that, it came to my mind that what if I decided to be a nurse rather than a doctor. So it was already here in my mind that when I reach my clooege level, I will take-uop yhe couse of a nurse. In that way, I can help my family better.
So if someone asked me what I want to be in the future, I just uttred these group of words, " Someday, I want to become a nurse, a registered nurse in the states. "
But during the last moments of my elementary years, I realized what I really want to be in the future, something that I like and I love too and something that I can bring on my entire life. As the days passed by, I observed to myself that I like to give advices especially to my friends and I really like to observe people's life particularly their feelings. I do not know why I am doing that. I do not noticed this kind of habit before. Perhaps, that is my nature. That is the real me. Belive it or not, I can predict a person's feeling by looking in her?his eyes. But not a 100 percent sure prediction. After those observations of mine, it came to my mind that someday, I want to become a psychologist, a great psychologist. When I came in that profession, in that dream, my mind was already settled is that only dream of mine, in that profession. So if someone asks me what I want to be in the future, what is my answer always is to become a psychologist.

I do not only have dreams for myself, also I have dreams for my family and as a matter of fact, these are plenty and very hard to achieve. Mt dreams for my family, first, I want my family to have a house, our own house and lot. Of course, whgo does not want his/her familyto have them a house, their own house and lot? Nobody, right? So I really want to have my family a house and lot, a house that will be the place of spending the rest of their lives. My next dream for my family , is that, am, of course, a house will not be complete if there are no appliances, furnitures and house decorations.So my next dream is a whole ste of appliances, furnitures and house decorations. So that will look perfect and elegant. Another dream for my family is to have business, several business. I want to have a restaurant, an internet cafe, a coffee shop, a mall and so many others. Of course, all of us want to have business to have money and to have to do something productive than doing nothing> So it is better to do something which is productive and of cousre, we want to keep our richness to our next family generation. The last dream for my family is to have a world trip. From Philippines to China to to Italy to New York to South Africa and so many places aropund the world. I also want a leisure time and the time to get with my family.

What a boring vacation!!!!

Last December, it was the month which had the longestvacation time during the school year. The vacation started the day after our Christmas Party. What did I do during the first day of my vacation was just sleeping for the entire day. Yes, believed me, sleeping was what I did for the whole day. Perhaps you might say that I am lazy, that I am useless but I do not care. I am showing the real me and the day before that was really exhausted so I could not help to sleep. There was a time also that I woke up and what I did was eating because I felt hungry so In woke up to eat and relief my hunger. After a few days, I still felt bored, I did not know what will I do to vanish this boredom. So what I did,I watched movies, all the movies that we have and I also borrowed vcd's and dvd's in our neighbors, relatives and even friends. I watched local and foreign movies which I was not able to watch those because of some reasons. After two weeks,a new drama series which not a filipino drama series, a korean. The series was entitled princess hours, a story a simple lady who suddenly became a princess of their country due to the agreement of her grandfather and his friend who was the king of that time. As that show started, I'm really dying to see that program I thank God that he gave that show. As a matter of fact, that show made my life more meaningful. You know what, as a sign of being a fan and watcher of that program, I never missed any episode and even scene of a certain episode of that show. Yes, believed me, I had never missed any episode or scene of the show. I am proud to say that I am addict of that said show. After the school, I run as fast as I can just to see some tidbits of the scenes for that night's episode. I am really hoping and waitying to see that scenes for thant night's episode because I want to be the first person who knows what will be the episodes and scenes for that day episode. I did promise to myself that I will not miss any episode pr scene of that program but sad to say that it is about to end but it is just okay, I will just wait another show like that said show. Suddenly, I remember that I still have to do my project it before the school days will resume. At that time I was really in panic because I do not know what to do and if i am not mistaken, I have only three weeks to go to finish my project. All did I do was walking and walking in our house. Then it came to my mind that I must go directly to the nearby internet cafe and start searching and encoding of my project. So I run directly to an internet cafe abd start searching of my projects and assignments too. After just two weeks of searching and encoding, I finally finished my projects and assignments. I am really happy of the results of what I have done and I am so grateful to our supreme being, our God. So that was how I spent my vacation during Christmas.

An expected letter from an un expected sender!!!!

Usually, people who are far from their loved ones are very lonely. They missed the moments they spent with the people they love. To lessen the loneliness they feel, they send a letter to their loved ones. They used to write a letter because they want to share the informations of that certain person and to know also the latest happenings in the family, friends or relatives of that person. That person wants to know the changes in the place where she/he lives.Of course that person wants to be updated.That person wants to know those things because heshe is part of those and also to be prepared to the changes of his/her loved ones and the place he/she used to live. For the sender of the letter, a fulfillment of his/her heart is there. But how about the receiver of the letter? Well, if you gonna ask me, a great fulfillment of my heart when I receive a letter especially if it comes from a person I love and who loves me. everytime I received a letter, I always wnat to read it directly. I really want to know the message of the letter if it contains a good or bad information or any emotion has the letter. we know a letter baries from the type of message or information it has or what the does the letter want to tell or to express. Some examples of this type of letter are business letter, invitation letter, love letter, condolence letter and so many others. Now in this moerbn period, people who are far away from their loved ones are using now modren gadgets in communication to communicate someone. Sample of this gadgets include computer (internet), telephone, cellphone and so many others that can communicate people especially who are far. What cannot do a letter is what can do of these different gadgets, these communication gadgets, generally. In a letter, you can only read the message or information from the person who wants you to know that certain infomation or message but these gadgets, you can even hear the sweet voice of your loved ones and listen what he/she wants to say to you. You can even see him/her through the internet in your computer of course with a use of a webcam. And instead of mailing him/her a letter, there is a modern mailing of a letter, and that is what we called now " e-mail ". In this case, you need not to write a letter but you are just going to encode it in a computer, throgh that, you can easily send the message you want to know to a certain person. So you do not need to wait, just to know if your letter was in the hands of the receiver of the message bgecause through e-mail, just a few seconds, you can already read the letter so thanks to the technology who made that possible. But they said, writing a letter personally is still good, still better and still the best in informing someone of something. The person who will receive a letter from you or someone will be sure that certain letter came from you, it is done personally from you and most of the people said that writing a letter personlly has more value, more sentimental value than any other communication gadgets.

Havwe you received a letter from an unexpected sendre? I know that question sounds confusing but it really happened to me. Last February 06, 2007,our family received a letter, from an expected sender and that was my sister who is Dubai right now working there as domestic helper. At the front portion of the letter, it was said that the letter was the all members of the family but what made me shock, is that, in the back portion of the letter, I saw my name as the salutator. What is being said in the letter was that my sister wanted to kno the the infomations of her idols, the latest happenings about her idols such as Claudine, Piolo, Sam and others. So that's it, my sister juat want an information of her idols but it was not about the message, for me to receive a letter is what I realy wanted and it can fulfill my heart especially if the sender in unexpected to write me a letter. To tell you the truth, I am noyt a close of my sister. Sometimes, we get mad to rach other and we even get battle to each other just becaus eof misunderstanding and I also neglect sometimes her commands to me. I think of myself of what I had done to my sister. Is it my fault? or is it her fault?, thse questions are what I keep asking to myself. Then I suddenly realized both of us made this misunderstanding, so I can say that it is our fault, both of us. Then just a few days, we are good againj to each other, everything is fine, something did not happen. So those sra the reasons why we are not close of sister and those are also the reasons why I was shock to read a letter from her. Actually, I know that we will receive a letter from my sister but what I do not was that she wrote a letter just for me and I am really happy!!!

A simple greeting is so touching ...

On February 03, 1993. At exactly 4:25 AM, a mother gave birth to a baby boy and that baby boy was me, of course. Yes, you’re right; it was the most important day of my life, my birthday. Just last February 03, 2007, I celebrate my birthday and the first one to greet me a happy birthday was my thoughtful and loving mother, one of my important people in my life. It happened when my mother woke me up because I had slept in our sofa and that's it, I woke up right away and went upstairs but before I went directly to upstairs, my mother hold my hand and heartily said to me happy birthday. I was so touch when I heard of those words from my mother because she really remembers my birthday and I am already happy for that. I do not care if people say that I can be a happy in just a small thing, and that is me the real me and people don't care about it. My classmates greet me also, they said that they had a countdown of my birthday at midnight of February 02, 2007 and it was held in our school during the overnight activity. Actually, all students were allowed to joined that said activity but I was not able to with my classmates because I had overslept and when I woke up, it is already 9:00 o'clock and the call time of that activity was 8:00 o'clock so that means I can no more enter the campus. So I just decided not to go. I just wrote entries for our blog project/activity. Another day had passed but day another also came. It was the day I lived in this world. But I woke up early because I had make-up class of that day. When I was almost in the gate of our campus, a two girls greet me a happy birthday actually those girls are my classmates. Some of my classmates were in the guard house and they greet me also. My classmates were also asking why I was not able to attend in the overnight activity. I just simply reply to them that I had overslept. After that, no more questions I heard from my classmates. But what really made me touch was when my classmates sang a birthday song for me; actually, they did not just know that I want to cry of what they did for me. I went home straight so I could rest. My family and I went to SM to have some fun there in my most important day of my life. That is how we celebrate my birthday and I really had fun in my birthday.
During birthday, we always expect for a gift and mostly, we want a gift that contains what we like to have but for me, to receive a gift is not what I want during my birthday. All I want is just a greeting that comes from the heart. I know it is unbelievable but I am not kidding, all I want is just a simple greeting. For me, greeting means a lot than any material. I am already contented and happy that the people around me and the people I love greet me a simple greeting, happy birthday.

I know that all people love watching the stars in the night sky. They want to see above something that twinkles. They said that if you look at the stars, all your problems and disappointments will vanish. It feels good to watch the stars and the sky as what people said. People also said that stars and sky tell something in life, in your life, in our lives. They said that stars and sky want us to know something in life. So if you going to study or observe the stars, about its composition, properties or movement towards the other stars and heavenly bodies. As what I always read in the newspaper, there is a section that consists of what we called horoscope. Horoscope is a forecast of one‘s future by stars at birth. Who are involved of this horoscope including astrologers, psychics, fortune tellers, etc? These particular sub-species used the stars of birth of a certain person to forecast his /her future. It may be a sad forecast or happy or it could be all about love, money, work life, etc. The horoscope tells us also about our lucky for this day like our lucky number, lucky color, lucky place or it could also be an unlucky number, place, color, etc. If I’m not mistaken, most of the people believe in the horoscope. Maybe because they found it right all what did the horoscope said for them it cam cause mood change especially if the horoscope said something good or bad. People also want to read the horoscope and follow what is being said especially if it tells something good will happen. But for the others particularly who are Christians they do not believe about this horoscope thing. Christians said that the people who are responsible of this what we called horoscope make /put/add details of what they thought about that certain star. And those details were just made by themselves. But I think people do not know because their mind focuses only on the details of their horoscope especially if it tells well. They cannot help to read their horoscope may be because they want to know what will happen in their lives for that day and either to prepare him / her of what will happen. If you going to ask me if I do believe in the horoscope, my answer will be a big yes even I’m a Christian. For me, nothing will be lose from me if I try it and there are times that I found it right what the entire horoscope said.

When I look at the stars and sky, they want something to tell but I just really do not know. But as the days, weeks, months and years passed by. Things are getting clearer r. Now I know that stars and sky tell that life must go on no matter what happened, what happen and what will happen in our daily life. No matter how difficult and hurtful are the problems and disappointments, we should still go on. You know what? I realize that all those things were true that life must goes on and we should move on from the things happened. We should also look forward to the things will happen and just laugh on your problems. And now I’m more confident to live in this world with the people who love me and I love most.

My Love affair with MV Doulos

The UP faculty planned and decided to go in MV Doulos. A floating book fair which is a historical matter and site. Its first departure to a certain place (which I do not know where is it) was on the year 1914, it is two years younger than Titanic. MV Doulos was said to be the most successful international floating book fair. MV Doulos has 16,000 titles of the books they have. The cooks or chefs of MV Doulos serve 1,000 meals everyday to the people living it. So far, MV Doulos had a record of 19 million people visited. So it is really a great pleasure to step on in MV Doulos. Last February13, 2007, that is the day when we went to MV Doulos. My classmates and all UP students were excited happy as what I saw to them but I am not one of those people and why is this so? Actually that was not the first time to I have gone in MV Doulos. I have gone there two weeks before we, the UP staffs and faculty went on there. So I already know what is in MV Doulos. When I was there, I was really bored because I do not usually read book that is not my hobby. Then the time came that we must go, our service was a jeepney. We were there in MV Doulos, we fall in line before we got in through Doulos. Finally, we were in the place where MV Doulos sells affordable books. The place where the books are displayed was divided into different sections according to the category the books belong like the atlas and reference section, children’s story section, and others. All I did was just roaming around in the book place and at the same time looking slightly with the books and scanning also. Some of my classmates decided to go out in the book place may be because they were bored there. We went out and stay for a while then suddenly we had decided to go back again to the book place but it is too late that we did not know that we could not go back anymore there. Some of my classmates did panic; it seems that they were prison to a place where they do not know what they are going to do. Me too , I was also in the panic state and I really wanted to go back to the book place because I had found out that the book place was less boring compare to the outside place of it . But thank God, because a savior came namely Mr. Montejo approached a staff of MV Doulos and asked on that person if we can go to the book place. After a few minutes of a conversation between the two, the staff of MV Doulos and Mr. Montejo had agreed on of something. We went back down and go up again. There was a show held at the second floor of MV Doulos. The program includes such as games, small presentation and video watching. After the show, we went back to the place where the books are but after a few minutes, UP faculty decided to go back to school.
So that is my love with MV Doulos and books but I do not think that you could call it a love affair because I did not enjoy when I am in MV Doulos.

3-letter dangerous word

What comes into your mind if you hear the word sex? What is your first impression of reaction towards this word? I know it's kind of a rude to talk about this but this word involves not only a popular or particular people but all people is involve of this, is part of this and it is it is human nature so lets face their reality, the reality about sex. As what I always heard, sex is a dangerous word but the definition of the word sex is not saying that it is danger. I don't really have it but thanks to a whole hearted person, the pastor of our church who knows more what is sex really means. He said that the word itself defines not harmful but who makes this word dangerous are the people, they are responsible of making this word dangerous. But how they do that? How they make this word sex dangerous, I asked to the Pastor. And he right away replied that people think that sex can be repeated twice, thrice or even more together with other sex partners because for them it is just okay, its not a big deal and there were some who makes sex as a hobby especially people who are at addict of sex. When I heard those words, those unpleasant words, I really can't imagine this people done all those things. It is really hard to think of all those things done by the people just because of sex.

When I heard all those things, those rude things, and I said to myself that they should be punish, the people who abuses sex, who makes sex as an hobby, etc.Of course we can expect that there are results of doing all those things. One possible result is that sex can lead to a great sin. Maybe, in the other people making sex as a hobby or to have plenty of sex session and also sex partners don't matter. It's not a big deal for them. For them sex is like is just like a game, you need to be the best player of all times but in the eyes of the our Creator, our Almighty God, sex matters a lot because God wants people not to commit sin due to sex. According to the book of God, the bible, sex is a gift of God to the married people so that means sex is sacred. God hates people who treat sex as a game. You can also commit a sin to others due to sex. People who are addict with sex are always looking for a sex partner. Even they don't know much about their sex partners, they still grab the opportunity to get sex with their sex partner. And because of that. Lots of relationship breaks apart, they betrayed their partners in life. Betraying someone is a sin and it really hurts especially to the person who was betrayed. To rape someone is also a big sin. You are against with the law, you opposed it. Nobody wants to be rape so there I s a punishment for that. Some were prison for their entire life and there were also sentenced to die. I know the punishment is unfair for those who will receive it but for those who were victims, they said that people who had sinned deserves the punishment that waits for them. Another result /effect that you can have is a serious illness particularly AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome), HIV (Human Infected Virus) and also STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease). You can all get this illness through sex especially to the people who has sex partner that already tried sex for several times with different sex partners. To have this kind of illness is not easy. There are lots of problems that you can encounter such as financial problem. All those things are done due to sex. Maybe people were tempted to do this; especially a gentleman is beside with each other. It can lead to a miracle a great miracle, sex.

On being taught by a students

Students said that their duties as a student are really exhausted difficult. They need to finish their assignments and projects and study their notes fort he upcoming test or quiz. They need to listen carefully and attentively to the teacher and take down some notes, but did they come to heir mind that the on who taught them has more responsibilities their duties. I think that is the reason why University of the Philippines launched the Know Your School Days activity, where student replaced their teachers and teach their fellow students. The main purpose of this activity is to appreciate what a teacher does to his/her students. Before the time has come for the opening of the Know Yours School Days activity students who are going to be teacher were very busy. Some were preparing for the materials he/she needed for his/her discussion. Some were also writing for visual aides of his /her topic and they were also practicing on how he/she will introduce the topic he/she will going to discuss. Until the most waited moments had come, the launching of the "Know Your School Day activity. The flow of the program started with enthusiastic emcees from the second year student and brief welcome address by the principal. The time has come for introducing the student teachers. Every Bartlett goes upon a stage us always & supports him/her by giving big hands and shouting but not s loud. After the program of the launching of the Know Your School Day activity. I asked myself what would be my feelings on being taught by fellow students? That question was answered when he first period of the class of that day started of course with the student teacher. I can see that the student teachers were tense very tense as if they didn't know what to do. But they had overcome their tense as they started discussing their topic of choice. I know that they had tried their best in teaching. A hundreds of effort gave them to us. And I really appreciate the effort they gave towards us. When it was dismissal time, I saw the student teachers taking a deep breath, as if they were prison for a long time and the turns were discard when they were able to get out of their prison. Again, the student teachers of the next subject were very busy preparing. And then the time has come for the discussions I have noticed that the student teaches of that subject were very prepared, they had really planned what is the flow of the discussion. They had successfully done a good one. S the time passed by all the student teachers were very happy because they had done what should be done for that day. The time has come for the closing of the activity. Student teaches who became teachers were given a certificate of participation of being a teacher just for 2 days. It is also a way of appreciating what the student teachers done.

Well, like the others, I have lots of experienced and great feelings on being taught by fellow students. I was really nervous of my teacher because he/she might ask me to answer his/her question. I also afraid of my teacher because he/she might have hatred with me and he/she might use his/her authority as a teacher to hurt my feelings or to make me embarrass in front of my classmates, any possible thing that he/she wanted me to do. I experienced a chaos class during the discussion of one of my student teachers. As far as I've known, the student teachers of that period have ac conflict with his students. I didn't have so much of comments and reactions. I just thought that the student teachers were the real teachers of ours. Because of this activity, I realized that being a teacher is not an easy job. A hundreds of thousands of effort must be exert. Based on my observations, teaching is like a food, if you don't put any seasonings/additives, the food will be tasteless. So if you don't put your mind, heart and soul the type of teaching you will have is also tasteless.
